A French Louis XVI white glazed terracotta room heater comprised of cabinet form fire box having chamfered corners terminating at the top with lion’s heads and ending in a fluted scroll; the front and sides with classically inspired motifs in semi-relief; the fire box surmounted by a palm form flue resting on a rouge royal marble slab, the flue entwined by grape leaves and clusters of grapes in relief and flanked by two cherubs in full relief executed in natural terracotta. France, 18th century with later elements.
